The RackSafe is a key and asset management solution designed to be installed within existing or new 19” server racks. Built up of rack key modules fitted within the server rack, RackSafe provides a localised key control solution within the data hall itself.
The key modules can be set up to manage the control and release of keys to operators depending on the approvals set up by the administrator. Sub-administrators can be set up to allow clients within a co-location data hall facility to manage access to their server racks only.
The height of the RackSafe server rack module can be adjusted to fit within an existing cabinet design. Further configurations can be added for intelligent key holding, intelligent asset storage or a combination of both key and asset storage boxes. On-site asset storage boxes can be used for the secure housing of critical replacement parts to reduce repair downtime in urgent situations.
